ZAL of the Port of Barcelona is certified in the ISO 50001
CILSA, company that manages the ZAL Port – received on December 20, 2017 the ISO 50001 certificate that has been audited and certified by Bureau Veritas Certification, thanks to compliance with the highest standards in the management of the Activities Logistics Area of the Port of Barcelona, to officiate the use and consumption of energy aimed at energy efficiency.
CILSA carries out a capital icnrease of 37.3 M€ in its entirely by MERLIN PROPERTIES
CILSA, the management company of the ZAL Port of the Port of Barcelona, has approved to expand its share capital by an amount of 37.3 million euros which has been covered in entirety by MERLIN Properties. The capital increase, approved in the General shareholders meeting of CILSA on December 21, will help finance the expansion of the logistics area of the ZAL Port planned in the coming years.
The ZAL of the Port of Barcelona is building a logistic warehouse of 35,000 square meters for ALFIL LOGISTICS
CILSA, owned by the Port of Barcelona, MERLIN Properties and SEPES; chaired by Sixte Cambra and directed by Alfonso Martínez, who manages the ZAL Port, and the company ALFIL Logistics directed by Jaume Bonavia, have signed a contract for the construction of a new logistics warehouse of 35,000 square meters in the ZAL Port (Prat) just next to the platforms that already operates.
FedEx Express opens new Ground Operations Centre in ZAL Port-Ciutat
FedEx Express, the world’s largest express transportation company and a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), has opened a new ground operations centre in Barcelona. Thanks to its size, capacity and strategic location in ZAL Port-Ciutat, the facility will process both domestic and international shipments, serving as a gateway between the Barcelona region and Europe.
Noatum Logistics strengthens its presence in the ZAL Port
Universal Global Logistics (UGL), belonging to Noatum Logistics, and CILSA (company that manages the ZAL Port) have signed a lease agreement for 4 years, which it confirms the trust that the company puts in the ZAL Port, with the presence of Tony Tintoré, CEO of UGL and Alfonso Martínez, CEO of CILSA.
